For NC Marit Stigsdotter has designed the ALVASTRA chairs.

Marit currently works as a designer and a writer. She also teaches product development at the School of Engineering, Jönköping University.

Marit has previously worked as woodworker and as project manager for specially made interior. She was born in 1966 in Oskarshamn, Sweden.

Marit has been awarded Utmärkt Svensk Form.
