Sophie Hardy
Designer, born in 1984 in England.
Sophie and Julia met at the HDK Steneby, Academy of Design and Crafts, where they both studied furniture design with focus on wooden furniture. For NC they have designed the furniture RAM. Sophie’s table Breaking Surface has received a lot of publicity and Julia’s cupboard Moiré has been displayed at Stockholm Auction House, ArkDes in Seoul and Hong Kong. In 2017 they were both awarded Ung Svensk Form. Among other awards they have received the Kvadrat scholarship and have won the World Space Creators Awar Sophie and Julia met at the HDK Steneby, Academy of Design and Crafts, where they both studied furniture design with focus on wooden furniture.
